Welcome

You reach SUMMER from the center of Liperi along an idyllic birch-lined road. On your left stands Liperi's impressive red-brick church, and on your right opens the bay. The churchyard wall, built of natural stone and restored using traditional methods, is a sight worth seeing in itself.

Getting Here

By Bus

You can reach Kirkkolahti conveniently by local bus from Joensuu. If coming from Kuopio, change buses at Ylämylly. From the Liperi village bus stop, it's about 850 meters to Kirkkolahti through the idyllic church park.

There are several connections each day – see the timetable here: https://joensuu.digitransit.fi

Ride Sharing

In North Karelia, a dedicated app has been developed to make ride sharing safe and easy. You can either post a ride request or offer a ride, and the app automatically calculates the fuel costs to be shared. The service is free to use – find it here: https://reissukyyti.fi/
