SUMMER
SUMMER serves delicious artisan pizzas, pinsas, ice cream, and warm Karelian hospitality. At the café, you'll find traditional Karelian pies and vatruskas with egg butter, as well as donuts, sweet buns, and other treats. In the evenings, the atmosphere comes alive when some of Finland's most famous artists take the stage.
SUMMER is located in the guest harbor of Kirkkolahti in Liperi's center – a place where generations have fished, boated, and relaxed by the water. Here you'll meet the easygoing locals of Liperi and enjoy the best of summer by the lakeshore.
For guests and boaters, SUMMER offers rental facilities including a sauna, laundry, and meeting room. There is also a motorhome and caravan parking area. Liperi's brand-new gravel cycling routes pass right through Kirkkolahti – pick up maps and stickers to take with you.

Brunches and banquet tables
Would you like to taste Finnish cooking and pure local ingredients? The answer can be found in SUMMER's special menus, which have been conjured up with chef Pasi Venäläinen (pictured). Pasi knows the Karelian culinary tradition (which is more than just Karelian pies) and combines it with, among other things, wild herbs.

This summer we're introducing freshly baked vatruskas and Karelian pies – honoring Liperi's long tradition as a bread-making parish. Alongside our artisan pizzas, you can now enjoy tasty mini pizzas known as pinsas. The ice cream kiosk continues to delight as always, and for private events and celebrations we create imaginative and customized catering.

Tourism Services
Cyclists, boaters, and motorhome travelers will find everything they need for a smooth and comfortable visit. The brand-new service building offers a water point, restrooms, showers and sauna, laundry facilities, and a bookable meeting and event space.
SUMMER also provides Welcome Cyclist services for bikers. The new cycling routes pass through Kirkkolahti, including the 13.5 km Liperi village loop and the 52 km "Bread Parish" route. Take a break at Kirkkolahti, recharge, and continue your journey refreshed.
